How do I put a widget in the main content of homepg?

Thanks Samuel- I have rss feed in sidebar widget now & it works fine but I want in the actual body of the page. When I put the html code in the body (from the code editor) I only get a link not an actual picture of the live feed itself, which is an interactive and live stock chart.
Also, I went to your plugin suggestion and most of the feedback was very negative.

sidebar widgets do not work in posts
I use feed wordpress on several sites without problems
