How do I pre-fill comments in contact form?

  • Hi, can somebody please tell me how I pre-fill the comment on a contact form? I run a campaign and need to make it easy for users to send a letter to the local council. I have tried entering my text in various places but it doesn’t work – I am sure it is possible (other sites have similar things)

    Hi,
    Currently that’s not an option available with the Jetpack Contact Form. I would suggest making a form using a different plugin, possibly Contact Form 7:

    I wouldn’t even add a comment section, I’d add a checkbox that says “If you check this box you agree to send the following message to the local council:” or something like that.
