How do i notify a user that there is an update available for my plugin [IMAGE]

Hi again..

I want to include an automatic updater for my plugin.. But i know how i can do it.. but how do i notify that there is a new update available in the plugin list? and how can i update it automatically… any functions i can use that wordpress have???
