How do I move left sidebar to right?

I have a website, and my website has a header, footer, and sidebar. I plan to use wordpress (and ridizain theme) as an embedded content inside my site, so the main content of the site would load wordpress blog, so that means the blog content is within the site (so it uses the site header)

How do I embedded/insert my blog into my site so it loads the header, footer, and sidebar of my site, but wordpress ridizain in the main content?

Thank you for choosing Ridizain.

First of all, these are two separate questions and ideal for response separation they should be two different threads – this would make it easier for others searching for similar questions/solutions.

This simplest answer I can give you to both questions is that both require some degree of expertise in order to achieve them – the first is less involved than the second question.

The first issues involves a lot of code hack via a child theme – there are too many parameters and elements that will need their values changed/relocated.

The second one involves using a special script to pull WordPress content in to your static site – for this one you’ll definitely need a developer to assist you. Best place to find one would be https://jobs.wordpress.net/ – this would be the starting point if you need assistance accomplishing the first issue too.

Thank you for your prompt response. I guess if it takes much time, i would just find another theme that is closely match to ridizain.

For the first question, move from left to right, i thought it would be just a code alignment move (like change float from left to right), but i guess it is more than that… any pointer on that?

currently i do not use WP for my site because the main site home page design is somewhat resemble a time line like facebook with icons to explain it, and i can not find such theme, so i had a developer build it for me.

I intend to use WP for the site blog, that’s why i m searching for theme.

Moving the sidebar is not a simple as that unfortunately.

It’s a fixed absolute positioned sidebar so by floating to the right it will overlay the content sidebar. You would then have to move the content section to the left by removing the left padding and then the fun of moving the content sidebar begins.

To start you of, you need to change .site:before to .site:after – from here onward things get a little tricky to say the least. But this is not to say that it can not be done.

Your other issue of combining the blog and your current site then the best advice I can give is to hire a developer to do that for you – again it can be done but its time consuming.
