how do I manage Featured and Upcoming Events

My Website is https://www.christtheking.com.sg

I would like to know how I can manage what is on the Featured Events and the Upcoming Events such that when I choose it to be Featured it need not be on the Upcoming Events as it is redundant.

Once turn the posting as private it is hidden and so I need advise on how can this be managed.
