How do I make my static page automatically sync with my blog posts

Hello!

I’m a huge fan of your template. I recently downloaded it for my website: https://heelsandthesoul.com. However, I’m having some slight issues customizing it. The primary one that I haven’t been able to resolve is the static page. The sidebar will not show up on the main page unless I make a static page. If I do this, my most recent posts/blog posts no longer show up. How do I insert code/make it possible for my static page to display the FULL text of the most recent 5-7 posts?
