• Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I can’t seem to find a fix that works for my site.

I’d like to make my header partially transparent and have saved my header image as a PNG (with transparency). Essentially the white bit is supposed to be transparent but when I upload to my site it just changes back to white.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to remove the white background?

    Thanks.

Sorry, which bit are you referring to as the ‘white bit’ and can you produce the issue, “I upload to my site it just changes back to white”?

I mean the white bit of the actual header image i.e. the bit surrounding the text in the top-left corner.

The image is saved with this white section as transparent but as soon as it is uploaded it displays as white again.
