How do I make “List View” as default in Product Catalog?

    Hi everyone,

    I need help with this, to make “List View” as default instead of “Grid View” in the product catalog page. I need to do this because my company wants the model number which is shown in short description available.
    Currently, grid view does not show the short description so I need to make List View as default.
    Plus, my product names are very long so it’s best to view in List View.

    You will need to customize the theme for this. You can also consult with a developer.

    @emranemranx is there any way theme support can give me a code or something to make the list view as default? As I don’t have any developer and I’m not a coder as well.

    I found the solution, go to > Customizer > Woocommerce > Archives > Scroll down to “Toolbar” section > “Default catalog view” change to “List”.
