How do I make it not use thumbnails as the image default?

  • When I upload an image to my blog, WordPress will display it as the thumbnail, and I manually have to click on the image and select to use the larger image.

    Is there a way so that wordpress doesnt use thumbnails.

    OR is there a way that wordpress can make the thumbnails bigger? say between 250 px-350px wide on all images?

    I have authors who upload and they complain that their images are small and they manually stretch them so they look bigger, but then they look bad.
    The authors are not technical and dont understand my instructions.
