How do I make a site logo using text?

  • Here is the theme I’m using: https://harmonicdemo.wordpress.com/

    Basically their site logo is text, how can I accomplish this? I don’t want to make an image out of text and then upload it because then the space in between the letters will be rendered as an image and won’t allow you to see the background. How can I get text to be used as the logo or at least make use an image with truly “empty” space between the letters so it gives the illusion of being text?
