    Hello!

Please do not post your email address. Support is provided via forums only and you risk a ton of spam landing in your inbox.
To answer your question – please visit theme options. Under Layout select ‘full posts’ and save. That’s it!

    thats for the homepage..

Actually no, it’s for the entire website. If you choose “full posts” full post content will be displayed, unless you put <!-- more --> tag manually into post content. See the demo.

Hello, I made an empty page just by adding a menu item.. so Im tryin to put all the blogs into that page.. ive only done it by manually entering HTML to fake it. What I want is some kind of code for all the blog posts to appear in full

Please explain your purpose. If you want to use static page as home page and you’re wondering how to set up blog as a section of your website, then you don’t need any special codes or templates. If this is what you want, just follow the steps described in this tutorial.

Ok great I got the blog page working as it should..
However, to make a homepage with the blog posts summary Id have to make another page called Home. When I do this I have too many menu items and it drops to a second line..

If its too much trouble to work around ill just set the homepage to an existing page. But if there is a simple way to edit the spaceing between the nav items and make the homepage display the blog entry summaries I might like to do that.

Why can’t you just select to show “Excerpts only” in Theme options?

    Thread Starter tyjames

    (@tyjames)

Thats all fine and working.. but In order for me to get a working blog page, in Reading settings I have to select
    Front Page Displays >
    A Static Page >

    Front Page “Something”
    Posts Page “Blog”

It wont let me select blog as the front page and as the posts page at the same time..

Ideally Id like the Front page to be the Same as the blog page But just the excerpts. So im looking for a workaround.

I don’t understand what you need workaround for. The default WordPress behavior is to display your latest posts on home page. You don’t need to create additional pages, add any codes. The solution I gave you earlier is for when you don’t want to display latest posts on home, but use static page instead.
If you want latest posts on home page choose Home Page displays latest posts under Settings->Reading and to display excerpts rather than full posts go to Appearance->Theme options and choose “Excerpts only” under layout option. That’s it.
Also, you don’t need additional page named “Blog” to be able to add it to menu. Instead add Home (it’s located under Pages section) to Menu but change it’s displayed name to “Blog”.

I did what you said.. but the blog page (home) is empty

As I said, you don’t need any additional pages. You should add Home to menu (see screenshot and disregard Blog page below), and change Navigation Label to whatever you want – for example Blog.

Nevermind now you’re just wasting my time

I’m sorry you feel that way – I’m simply trying to understand what you want to achieve.

What tyjames asked was exactly what I was trying to figure out, and you alex27 answered it perfectly. Thank you!
