How do I make a link in my posts open in a new window?

Hello, I am writing posts that have links inserted in the text, and I am using the method where I highlight the text, hit the link button, and thn insert the link in the text. However when I do that and click the link in the text it doesn’t open in a new window.

I know it is considered poor blog etiquette to open up a new window with a link, but how do I do this? Thanks!
