• I added the Posts in Page plugin and having tremendous difficulty linking my posts to specific pages. For example, I want to post a Key Lime Pie post to my Recipes page. I added the shortcode to the Recipes page with the Key Lime Pie post ID (132) shortcode [ic_add_posts ids=’132′], and it still doesn’t work. post.php?post=132&action=edit

I also have a Blog page and want to post lifestyle article to that page.

What am I doing wrong, and is there an easier way to handle this situation? I do not know CSS code. Thank you.

    Howdy @garlindj,

Linking your posts or any content to pages within WordPress should be relatively easy.

You’ll add a link to the page or post just like you would normally, regardless of the plugin you’re using.

If you’re trying to pull the Key Lime Pie article into a page, a shortcode like [ic_add_posts ids=’132′] should work.

Do you have a static homepage? If so, is your blog page set under Settings > Reading?

If so, you should be able to just write blog posts and they should magically show on that page.

There may be a different way to handle this @garlindj – If you have categories for your recipes, you should have an auto-generated category page for each category and any recipe you put in that category will automatically show up there.

As you can tell, I’m not certain I understand the issue but I hope this was helpful. Please clarify and I’ll try to help further.

    Cheers,
    eric
