How do I limited the number of posts on the home page?

    How do I limited the number of posts on the home page? I don’t seem to be able to find how I set the number of posts going on to the home page. If relevant, the site is Gadget Blog.

  • I think what you need is under:

    Options> Reading

    Look down and there is something called Blog Pages and you can enter an amount of post you want per page.

    I hope this helps.

    Someone correct me if I am wrong, but if you select to have only 1 or 2 posts show on your frontpage then this also will affect how many posts per page are displayed in your acrhives.

    This is why I always hardcode the post number control into my (personal) themes.

    The CQS (custom query string) plugin might be what you are after.
