Simple Question…. How do I limit the local storage of backups to lets say 5 but not limit the remote storage of these backups? My hosting server can’t keep 6 full backups which I do daily… but obviously AS3 can. Where is a setting to keep local at a certain number but not limit remote storage? How do I configure this? This has been the main reason I have used backupbuddy over updraft plus for so long. I can’t figure this out. Please help.
    Thanks,
    Tad Heigel

    Hi Thaddeous,

We don’t have a setting for this, I’m sorry to say…

Perhaps another option would be multiple remote locations instead (e.g. both S3 and Google Drive) – cloud storage is cheap. (Multiple remote locations is a feature in UpdraftPlus Premium).

    Best wishes,
    David

Why would I need multiple remote storage locations? How would this allow me more backups or change the fact that Updraft deletes backups from remote storage locations?

    Hi,

I think I misunderstood you – I was assuming you were wanting to keep multiple copies of the backup.

    Best wishes,
    David
