    Hi,

Not sure about Real-time>overview, but you should be able to see a difference in bounce rate. Except when your bounce rate was already quite low.

Do you have any Time Category events under Behaviour>Events>Overview?

    Thread Starter CelsiusAnderson

    (@celsiusanderson)

Yes I can see some events there –

    Event Label
    Total Events
    Unique Events
    Event Value
    Avg. Value

    95
    % of Total: 100.00% (95)

    5
    % of Total: 0.97% (518)

    0
    % of Total: 0.00% (0)

    0.00

    What does these indicate?

BTW, does it conflict with cache plugin?

    Plugin Author Okoth1

    (@okoth1)

95 is too little, there must be something else going on.

Is it possible to post your website’s url or mail it to me (okoth1 at gmail dot com)

I don’t know yet if there is a conflict with a cache plugin. There could be a conflict if you minify and combine the javascripts.

The site I am working on is this – https://bit.ly/scuisines
We are using cache plugin, cdn, and manual corn job.

    (@okoth1)

    Yes, it’s the cache plugin.

If you exclude my plugin or js it should work. The url to the minified js is also before the Google tracking code. My code should come after Google’s tracking code.

    Thread Starter CelsiusAnderson

    (@celsiusanderson)

In the cache plugin there is an option for JS files to exclude from minification – what should i give there?

    (@okoth1)

    Which plugin do you use?

I may not be able to answer again today. Will look at it over the weekend.

I have two more options – 1. JS files to be included in the footer during the minification process 2. JS files with deferred loading:

I am using WProcket- a premium cache plugin.

    (@okoth1)

Could you try to include the js file in the footer? For my plugin that would be enough to work, but I don’t know if other js files will work.

    Thread Starter CelsiusAnderson

    (@celsiusanderson)

I would love to.. but in your plugin js folder there are many js files. analyticsjs.js (1.6 KB)
    ga4wpjs.js (1.57 KB)
    gajs.js (1.61 KB)
    index.php (0.03 KB)
    rbr-jquery.js (0.13 KB)

which should give in the footer?

    Plugin Author Okoth1

    (@okoth1)

Now you are using analyticsjs.js so I would start with that.

Just did it. the js in the bottom of my page is your js..please take a look…will that work?

    (@okoth1)

I looked at it and would be surprised if it doesn’t work. Give it a day and see if the bounce rate drops.
