How do I know either my website was hacked or not?

  • A virus JS:IFrame-XL[Trj] was found on my local computer.

    When I googled the name of the virus, the first thing that Google showed was WordPress Support forum with the description of the problem with WP site caused by this virus (post).

    My website looks OK so far. I downloaded it to local computer and scanned with Avast! – no viruses found (didn’t scan the database though…)

    How do I know either my website was hacked or not?
