Is there a button to switch on/off for leverage browser caching in the free version of Hummingbird?

My website has been slower and slower last few days and dunno what is causing it. I have been editing text only.

Also I have been having doubts in Jetpack. Do you have any info of compatibility hummingbird/smush/jetpack?

    Thanks!

    Hello @somenoma

    I trust you’re doing well!

Is there a button to switch on/off for leverage browser caching in the free version of Hummingbird?

If the Lavrage Browser button was enabled by the Hummingbird plugin in the first place, it can be deactivated. In this case, please go to the Hummingbird > Caching > Browser Caching and click on the Deactivate button as shown in this screenshot:

I’ve scanned your site using GTmetrix and the site is loading in 2.1 seconds. It is a pretty fast loading time. Please see this screenshot:

Would you please elaborate a little more on your issue here?

Also I have been having doubts in Jetpack. Do you have any info of compatibility hummingbird/smush/jetpack?

All plugins can work alongside well and you may have all three of these enabled. With the only note, Jetpack comes with a lazy load feature as the Smush does, so please makes sure to have this option enabled only in one plugin of your choice, to avoid conflicts.

    Have a good day!

    hi @wpmudev-support9,

    1. it seems like under browser caching everything looks good and active for me, however on gtmetrics it says got 0 score 0 for Leveregad Browser Caching and that was the reason of my inquiry. How do I make it better then?

    2. compatibility with jetpack – I was just checking because there are the same functions. Thanks for the tip on enabling lazy loading in only 1 plugin

    Thanks!!

    Hi @somenoma,

Can you tell us what do browser caching values are showing in Hummingbird settings, for what time are they set?

It seems that the browser caching is active but the values are set to 1 day, while Google suggests using 1 year and will report the files if the value is set lower than that.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Predrag,

I got it all set everywhere for 1 year. Everything in Hummingbird seems ok. Just ran a fresh analysis at gtmetrics and same thing… Apparently, again, I suck big time at Leverage Browser Caching… Any other ideas/suggestions?

    Hello @somenoma

    I hope all is well!

Please check with your hosting if they have varnish or object cache enabled. If they do, please flush it and check the performance once more.

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

they helped me out… I need to input ht code

I am good with Hummingbird. I don’t see the “resolved button”, so could you mark it as resolved?

    Thanks!
