    Hi

Pretty new to php and wordpress.

I have read this article about the subject, but have absolutely no idea of the following:

    A) where to put the php
    B) how to make it so this ‘2 categories php’ applies to just the blog display i am changing (i don’t want this to be site wide, i just want it to change one display feed on one page).

I have a mortgage website (currently here under a subdomain while i build it in WP). I will have articles that relate to multiple categories, for example one article about remortgaging a rental property may be categorised as ‘buy to let mortgages’, ‘capital raising’, and ‘remortgages’.

I will then want a page that displays all of these articles that have those three categories. If they only have 1 or 2 of the 3 categories, then I don’t want to display them.

As I’ll have a few areas across my site where I’ll want to do this with a variety of specific categories, I could do with knowing how to make this work.

Ideally I want to be able to display these either on the page or in a widget in the sidebar.

    Help much appreciated,

    Pete

    Esmi,

Thanks for this, looks exactly what we need. I have read through but have pretty much no idea how to recreate the php for my template sahifa

I have made a new notepad file called ‘pageofposts.php’ but then deciding which code is part of the ‘page of posts’ template, and which is the bit i need to delete from the twentythirteen template and copy in from an existing template from my theme – i am lost.

    Any ideas what I’ll need?!

    Cheers,

    Pete
