How do I include image tags in search results

I’ve installed NextGEN on this test page:

and have put “cable car” in the rightmost “Tags” column (to the right of the ID, thumbnail, Filename and Alt & Title Text / Description columns), but when I search for “cable car” or just “cable”, I don’t get anything, even though I would expect to have 2 results for the 2 images … I tried “Better Search” and “Relevanssi” plugins, thinking these might expand the basic WP search functionality to include gallery image tags, but neither seemed to work (perhaps ‘pilot error’ on my part?) Any suggestions would be appreciated! ?? THANKS!
