How do I include a slideshow in the header

    I want to include a slideshow in the header of my site. I am using the Author Theme.
    With the plugin Meta Slider I made a slideshow and I have the shortcode.
    But in the header I only can select a picture. Where/How do I copy the shortcode of the slideshow into the header?

    Thanks for using Author!

    There is not currently an option for adding sliders into the header with Author. The options available are to include the slider in the post/page content, or in the primary sidebar widget area.
