• I just recently created a Webpage using Kompozer (a WYSIWYG HTML Editor) and I wanted to know if I can Import this Webpage, found on my hard drive, into my WordPress Website?

If so, Exactly How Would I do this?

I am comfortable using the CKEditor (to replace the default WordPress Editor).

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!!

  • Paste the page content only into the HTML tab and stay away from the Visual Editor.

    This is kenyasuda1.

    Thanks for your help.

I believe I tried doing this using the default WordPress Editor (which has the HTML and Visual Tabs), pasting the HTML code from the Kompozer created Webpage into the HTML Tab of the default WordPress Editor. [I used the HTML code between the Body tags.]

After publishing and viewing, I saw that this page really needed to be formatted a lot, so I switched over to the CKEditor…which helped some, but it is still really messy.

I just want to make sure I understand what you are saying. When you write, “Paste the page content, DO you mean regular plain text or HTML code?

I would think it would be the latter since you are saying to paste it into the HTML Tab.

I would appreciate a brief clarification…and do you have any further suggestions?

    Thanks!

Paste the page content, DO you mean regular plain text or HTML code

    HTML code

And don’t switch to the Visual tab – ever. Or you could lose most of your code.
