How do I hide/strip HTML code comments?

  • When I look at the source code of my WP blog it is annoying to see things like this:
    <!-- Fancy Widget 3.1 | by Joe Shmoe, https://www.spamsite.com/ -->

    Is there a plugin that allows all of the commented code like that to be automagically stripped out of the HTML before it is processed?
