How do I give users roles based on an outcome

Hi! So recently I’ve been working on this site that has an educative system. What I need is, is there a plug-in that sets user roles based on an outcome. So let’s say there are students that take a test, that test will determine their weak points, and based on that they’ll see content only for them. I display this content through display conditions based on the user. So let’s say somebody scored bad on a subject, then all content linked to that subject will be shown. Okay, concluding, I need a plug-in of some sort that will set a role to the user based on that outcome so that that user will only see the content I displayed for that role. Any ideas?
