How do I get the show password feature to show up on login?

Hi There,

In User Registration login form user can make visible of password. For this user can enable/disable on the eye icon to view/hide password while typing.

Also users can have such features in Password Change Form at the time of changing passwords.

I’m not sure you understand.

I asked how to make it show up as it doesn’t show up on my login form and you reply with what that feature is. I clearly know what it is but that isn’t my question.

Nor do I see an eye icon on your demo page:

So how does one get it to show up? It is a wordpress core feature so I guess it shouldn’t be to hard to invoke it.

Sorry for the confusing reply from my colleague.
The eye icon feature appears on both the login form and registration form password field. Once you enable this option from the User Registration settings, you can see the icon in both the areas. Please make sure that you have enabled this option in your settings. Refer to this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/skx93d to enable the settings.

I have that setting enabled but it still doesn’t show up, what can I do or test?

Hi @master412160,

It could be because of the cache or any plugin conflict. Clear all the site’s cache and see if it appears or not.
If it still does not appear then deactivate all other plugins except User Registration and see if it works or not. If everything works fine then you can activate other plugins one after another and do test it at the same time. This will let you know the cause behind the error.
