    Hello

Since the last update, I’ve had problems with the CSS written for the ‘Events page’ that don’t work anymore.

In addition a visible string of CSS code has appeared on the top of the front page of the website.

The CSS is written in the theme’s child theme.

How do I get the CSS to work again and the string of CSS code above the menu disappear?

    Best, TK

Hi @tinnakvist, apologies for the delay here. I’m curious, could you interchange the settings under Display → Default stylesheet used for events templates and Events template? See if that makes a difference.

Moreover, please clear any caching after updating the settings.

Let me know how it goes.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hi Abz,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I think the settings you describe is already the ones active.
Is there a way I can send a screendump?

    Best, Tinna

Hi @tinnakvist, I see. It would be good if you could select default display settings. See the screenshot here → https://share.getcloudapp.com/6quGJjL8.

You could share screenshots via free third-party apps like Loom or CloudApp.

Did you have any kind of customization before the update? If so, the classes/ids could have changed and we suggest checking the selectors, before reapplying them in order for it to work.

Moreover, although we support different themes. There are themes that would also need further customization. You can check our Themer’s Guide to learn more about implementing CSS customization → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/knowledgebase-category/customizing/.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

And also – what will happen the next time you update the plugin? Will I loose the styling once again?

Hi @tinnakvist, thanks for getting back to me here. Yes, that’s the correct setting.

And also – what will happen the next time you update the plugin? Will I lose the styling once again?

If you’re adding custom CSS in Appearances → Customize → Additional CSS, you will not lose it.

I did some more digging and investigation on your website. It seems like you’re using Cloudflare. We have an issue with the object cache, and for now, we would recommend disabling/deactivating it. Could you try deactivating it and see if that makes a difference?

Let me know if that helps.
