So I just got the message that the classic is not going to work anymore soon. So I had ChatGPT create shortcode for me to replicate what my old exact settings were with the classic one and I got it to display, but it’s showing the view count under each popular post.

It wasn’t showing this before with the regular classic one. But when I use the shortcode it is showing the views under each popular post. I asked ChatGPT for help, but the code it gave me to not have views show didn’t work.

This is my current shortcode I’m using which can be viewed on the main sidebar of my blog.

    [wpp header=”Popular Posts” limit=8 order_by=”views” range=”last30days” post_type=”post” thumbnail_width=75 thumbnail_height=75]

I assume it’s right? I’m using the text widget to display the short code since it didn’t work when I tried it with the custom html widget.

Everything looks good to me except it’s showing the view count under it and I don’t want that. Any help? I have no coding knowledge or experience just so you know. Thank you!

    Hi there,

You can use the stats_views parameter (see Parameters for more details) to disable the views count like so:

    [wpp header="Popular Posts" limit=8 order_by="views" range="last30days" post_type="post" thumbnail_width=75 thumbnail_height=75 stats_views=0]
