How Do I Get Rid Of This Strange Text Above My Header?

  • On every page on our website (except the home page) an “SSS” text has appeared on every page.

    I have updated things, deactivated/reactivated plugins… nothing works.

    I have scoured the source files, searched in the <head> tags, and it’s not there.

    What caused this? How do I get rid of this unsightly annoying little thing?

  • The text could be in any source-file in your installation. Its insert before any output of the template. I would have 2 tips for this:

    * Disable all plugins. If the text disappeares enable the plugins step by step until the text appears again.
    * Search all source-files for the text, not only the templates with <head>-tags. Attention: its lowercase “sss”, not uppercase.
