How do I get rid of the EDD Checkout on Menu

    Hi,

    I recently deleted Easy Digital Downloads off my site as I decided to continue using PayLoadz. But the Checkout option is still showing on my menu.

    I went to EDD to post my issue there, but as I’ve deleted the plugin and all data with it, I can’t access tech support as they require system information data. There was an older post that told the user to set a menu in her theme because it’s the theme that sets that page there not EDD. I am using Weaver II Pro and saw no way of doing that. I was using Twenty Sixteen when I first installed EDD

    Is there someone who can tell me how to set a menu? Knowing what to do is nice, but knowing how to do it is so much better.

    If I was to reinstall EDD would I get a second Checkout on the menu?

    1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
    2. From the ‘Appearance’ menu on the left-hand side of your Dashboard, select the ‘Menus’ option to bring up the Menu Editor.
    3. Locate the menu item that you want to remove in the menu editor window.(in our case it’s the checkout)
    4. Click on the arrow icon in the top right-hand corner of the menu item/box to expand it.
    5. Click on the Remove link. The menu item/box will be immediately removed.
    6. Click the Save Menu button to save your changes.
