How do I get my WP gallery to look like this?

I have been searching the web for 3 hours now looking for a plug-in or something to make my image galleries look like the gallery on this website: https://fashionindie.com/the-stylish-solution-for-college-sports-fans/twelvesaturdays01/#gallery. All sliders/galleries I have stumbled upon so far are to “spaced out” with play buttons and special effects. All I want is a simple slider like that one with thumbnails on the bottom + being able to write captions for each image.
Anyone out there who can point me in the right direction?
