How do I get my posts to show on the page titled "blog"

  • I am very new to wordpress and don’t have a clue. I would like to add posts to my blog page. Like many blogs the newest post first and you can scroll down and see older posts. But when I do an “add Post” it doesns’t go on any of my pages. I can see on the right side a list of recent posts and can click on each post individually only.

  • 1. Create a page called “Blog”.

    2. Go to Settings -> Reading, select a “Static Front Page”, and change “Posts Page” to the page you created in Step 1.

    That should take care of it. I’m assuming you are already using a static front page and just need to create and point the blog page.

    I am having a similar problem. Whenever I do the above the permalink for the blog page ends up being the same as for the home page. I cannot figure out how to fix this.
