How do I get google to show correct site title as seen in source code??

My site name is entered correct in settings > general and in seo plugin. google keeps showing it as having lower case letter and no tag line.. this is only on the home page. all other pagaes show correct with caps and description..
the homepage meta title and title are correct in page source but google will not show that..
