How do I find my hostname?

    I just recently took over a blog (and am learning as I go) – it is version 2.9.2.

    The blog has never been backed up, so I am trying to install the plugin WP-DBManager since it is compatible with my WP version. But when I go to install, it asks for the following info: hostname, username, password and connection type. I know my username and password are correct, since I use it to access the site. The hostname automatically had info in it, and FTP was the default setting.

    Each time I try to install, I get the following message: failed to connect to ftp server bellecose.com/blog:21

    I have tried both options for the connection, so think the issue is with the hostname. I know this is probably a super simple question, but how do I go about finding what my hostname is?
