    How do I find my hosting provider?

    I ask because I’m trying to link the website to a url shortener and I need to configure the DNS. From reading on these forums, I’ve learned I can’t do that in wordpress, and I need to do it through my hosting provider. I inherited this website as part of joining the PTO at my kid’s middle school and the website was set up by a board president several years ago. I do not have access to their information and I have not received a bill or anything from a hosting provider. Neither have the members of the previous board.

    I’m an idiot, I combed through the support forums here before asking, but I didn’t even google it. I thought finding this information had to be done by the person who owns the website, but no. If anyone else ever needs to know, there is a website you can use to find the hosting provider of any website. https://webhostingdetector.com/

    I feel very sheepish. Sorry.
