How do I ensure that BPS will not bring my site down during WP update?

    Hi,

    I wish to update my WP to the latest version. But before I can do that, I will need to deactivate the BPS plugin. I am not sure if my site will be brought down if I deactivate the BPS site because BPS made some changes to the .htaccess file.

    What steps can I take to ensure that WP update will go smoothly?

    You do not need to do anything with the BPS plugin for WordPress updates. Just update WP normally.
