• Hello all,

I’m pretty new to WP, yet learning more every day:)

I have developed a website and installed the static home page plugin, in order to give it more of a “site” and less of a “blog” feel. You can see it here: https://www.RaisingSmallSouls.com

I’d like to enable comments on that page, so people can comment regarding the movie on my home page (that will be uploaded shortly!)

Is there a way to enable comments on that page, and would you mind giving very specific instructions if you know how… Thanks so much in advance!

    Cheers!

    Ellen

  • In the upper right corner of the page when you are drafting it is a blue box you expand and choose allow post.

You are still using wordpress 1.5.2. Please note that there is now a security release 2.0.2 out. You badly need to update. If you need help, let me know and I can discuss it with you.

    Thank, Bestfoot!

Ok, where is the blue box? I wrote the article for the home page in home.php!

Yes, I am concerned about upgrading… how do I ensure that I don’t lose any of my formatting?

    Thanks again!
