I can’t find the function for me to post admin reply to entries. How do I do that? Please help. Thanks.

Also, how do I enable avatars for guests and admin? Is it possible for guests to use an avatar if my website does not require visitors to register?

Hi, on the Dashboard you can go to Dashboard > Guestbook > Entries. Then pick the entry you want to reply to. Now you are on the Editor page. You should see a field for admin reply, that you can fill in. After saving it should be visible at the frontend.

If you have the Add-On, you can also add an admin reply through the frontend. The Metabox in the top right has an option for that.

Ah!! Ok that was so quick! Thanks for the prompt response.

I edited my original post to add a second question as I didn’t expect to get such a fast reply: How do I enable avatars for guests and admin? Is it possible for guests to use an avatar if my website does not require visitors to register?

    Thanks much!

    You’re welcome ??

The avatar can be enabled on Settings > Reading-tab.
It is based on the email of the user. If they added a gravatar at gravatar.com for that email address, it will be visible.
