How do I embed MY videos

Another possible solution would be to use a free video service such as YouTube , Vimeo or Viddler (it’s as simple as creating an account), uploading videos to it , and then embedding the videos in your blog posts .
This is my preferred method as my server would not have the overhead to deliver large file-size content . Negatives , You don’t have much control : it’s their service — their terms — their restrictions on quality , size , format, and content. They can decide they don’t like the look in your eye and yank you down .

kostas: This is for a business and linking over to YouTube is not an option. I need to embed the video in the website.

I’ll try Vipers Video again, MeRudd. Do I just write that code in the html window with Vipers insatlled? I’ll try that…

Hi MeRuud: The short code or the Viper Video didn’t work. First off, my video is MOV and it’s in my computer folder. Should it be in a folder titled “videos”? And where does the short code go?

And does the short code include: [mov] and [/ mov] with the code between those?

I am not using YouTube or YouTube videos (nor do I want to). I am using my own videos.

Still very confused, please help!

I found I had to use “iframe” code and it worked. Viper Video did not, so I removed it.:

Although the video is vertical and is cropped a bit so it’s a work in progress. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. Also, if the video goes on my actual website, will “MOV” which is a Quicktime movie play on all browsers? If not, does Flash Video? And if so, how do I convert a MOV to Flash?
