How do I edit the main query

  • Hi, I would like to make changes to the main query, does anyone know where I can find it in this theme? I really like the look of it but I’m using custom fields for sorting posts so I have to make some changes. Thanks!

    There are a couple of ways to do this. For starters, Tracks only uses index.php, so you can take advantage of the template hierarchy to override the loop e.g. create single.php or archive.php.

    In the index.php file, a function called ct_tracks_get_content_template() is used to get the right template file. You can override this function in a child theme or abandon it entirely in favor of using templates that override index.php.
