How do I edit the email that automatically goes out to subscribers?

Wordpress knowledge: novice (just learning/teaching myself)How do I edit the email that automatically goes out to subscribers, to only include a blurb and not the entire posting?
What I mean is: I subscribed to my own blog using the SUBSCRIBE button on the right bar. When I posted my latest post this morning:
“Writing During Production: The Development of Sundance Darling BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD (Q & A Screening)” I immediately received an email with the entire article. Is there a setting somewhere where I can tell WordPress to only email out a blurb, so that a subscriber would have to click on a link to my site in the email to read the entire article.
Point being, I want subscribers to have to click into my site, not get the entire article through email every time I post.
I can’t seem to find that setting anywhere.
If not, then is there a different “Subscribe” plugin that anyone could suggest that would allow me to do this? I’m currently using the WordPress one that comes with Jetpack. Thanks.
