How do I disable the overlay on specific pages (and in general)?

Since the institution of the overlay, I’ve never been able to figure out how to disable it at all. The closest I’ve come is delaying its appearance.

I need to be able to disable it on specific pages, like subscriber-only pages that are hidden.

I’m guessing it will involve using the page/post ID somewhere, but whatever the quickest, most effective fix is, I’ll take it. Please and thanks.
