How do I disable the 'new post' on my page and basically remove the whole text?

  • I want to make an art gallery just like this one :

    I already have installed the plugin and inserted the gallery
    however there’s still that Comment box and if I add a new post, it gets inserted below the gallery.

    If I want to remove all of that and just keep the gallery itself, I should go to the index.php and delete everything except for the gallery? Would that cause any trouble?
