• I like the Twenty Fourteen Theme. But I don’t like the top menu so I used a plug-in for my top menu. I do have another pulgin for mobile version of the site.

But the Twenty Fourteen Theme is responsive to changes in screen size and window size. Everytime soneone loads the website on either a low resolution monitor or scale the window to a smaller size, the responsiveness of the theme mess up my to menu items.

How can I stop the site/theme from being responseive? Is theee a CSS code I can enter/disable in order to stop the site from being responsive and squishing the top menu?

    Thank you so much.

  • You may want to try disabling the responsive features within UberMenu to see if that stops the menu from changing its layout

@jarretc Thank you so much for the response. I found the option to disable responsiveness on UberMenu. But I prefer if I can stop the theme from being responsive instead. The reason behind this is because this way I can force people to use the mobile version of the site while enforcing desktop version for all PC users.

Is there way to do a CSS to make the theme fixed width?

    Thank you.

Hi, there would be a way to do it but it would most likely take quite a bit of work to ensure that everything remains in place instead of adjusting. Somebody else may come along with a solution but you may also want to look into having a developer look at the situation for you and have them apply the fix.
