How do I create xml pages in Filezilla?

    Hi, I’m looking at the directions for the xml sitemaps plug in and it says to create two xml pages in the root directory for my blog. How do I create the xml pages.

    I never thought I’d have so many questions.

    You can use any basic text editor to create them. If you’re on a PC, you can open use Notepad to save a blank document as sitemap.xml (or whatever the program asks for) and then upload it to the proper directory using FileZilla.

    This is probably because the plugin has privileges to edit files, but not create them, so it just needs a starting point.
