• My Woocommerce product page urls are in this format:
    https://domainname.com/product-category/seeds/

Since I refer to this page a lot I would like to use the link: domainname.com/seeds

I have always referred to this as an alias. Is that incorrect? Is it a redirect, vanity url, etc?

The actual page (domainname.com/seeds) does not exist. I would rather not use a plugin for this, and no bitly or url shorteners. There has to be a way to natively do this WordPress right? Or in Cpanel? If I need to do this as a redirect, should it be 301 or 302?

    Thanks.
