How do I create a standardized report in wordpress?

  • I am looking for a way to create a page/report on my wordpress site that will be easily replicated with limited formatting work. I am working with a realtor who wants to provide reports to home owners with homes they might be interested in. I want a simple data entry method to enter the following items:

    Agent info (photo, bio, contact info, link to website)
    House info (address, photo gallery, map, data in bullet point format & text description of home).

    There will be multiple home descriptions in each report. I’m sure I could create a custom page with all this info, but it is a task that will be repeated often so I want some kind of template or form to fill out which will generate a nicely formatted page. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this? Thanks!

  • I use a template generating plug-in tool called Post Template

    Basically you do one post and get your format the way you want it, save it as blog post or as a draft, then you can back to the dash board and with the plug-in installed there is a new button that allows you to convert the post to a template,… then in the future you create post from the template.

    Works great.

    Thanks for the recommendation! Looks like it hasn’t been updated since the release of wordpress 2.8. What version of wordpress are you running it on?

    wwdlu, You really think that is an effective way to get people to buy your junk? Can somebody ban this joker from this site?

    I run on 2.7.1 and it plugin works fine, I don’t think it is an overly complex plugin so it should work with current versions,

    Let me know it works for you,… what version of WP are you running by the way?
