How do I create a "Posts" page with a presentation front page?

  • I’m having trouble creating a “Posts” placeholder page on my website which uses the Mantra theme and the presentation front page.
    When I go to Reading Settings, my presentation page is not in the dropdown menu to be set as a static front page so that my blog page can be set as the “Posts” page.

    I would be grateful for any ideas about how to resolve this.

    The presentation page does not appear in that list because a theme cannot modify that list in WordPress.

    The presentation page is independently controlled by the Presentation Page enable/disable onption in the theme’s settings page and overrides the option set in Reading.
