How do I create a new theme/skin ?

    I need to customise the styles and ideally want to create a whole new theme for this which will work reliably between updates to the plugin.

    How do I do this, is there a folder/file structure to replicate ?

    There is no folder/file structure for this and it is not possible to create your own “skin” or “theme”.

    You can only customize the design using CSS by examining the lightbox using the developer tools of browser and create your own CSS rules for it as overwrites in a custom WordPress theme.

    Keep in mind that when you overwrite existing styles of PhotoSwipe, you may have to adjust your own CSS rules when there is an update of Lightbox with PhotoSwipe which changes the structure of the generated HTML elements.
