How do I create a grid for an individual category?

    Hi, I am new to wordpress, but I am learning as fast as I can! ??

    I am trying to create a Post Grid for each of my categories on separate pages…
    the post grid default seems to be for all recent posts, which is great for the home page, but I want to have a seperate page for each of the 3 categories so that I can display only posts from the individual categories in grid form as well.
    Is this something that Post Grid can do?

    I have my home page: with a grid of all ‘most recent’ posts (this works great!)
    I have added 3 category pages: and I would like each one to only show posts from it’s specific category (this is where I am stuck…)

    Any help you can offer would be much appreciated! ??

    Hi and thanks so much for the speedy response!
    Mine doesn’t show the “Categories or Terms” box…

    So I have no way to choose which category… if I click the category box then it just shows all of my categories…
    Is there a way to choose just one category? or do I need a pro version upgrade or something to do that?

    Mine directly under the “Post Taxonomies & terms” selection table (with options — categories, tags, and formats) is:

    Taxonomies relation : Options —- OR AND

    Post status : Display post from following post status —- publish

    etc.. etc…

    you probably selected custom post type that doesn’t have any categories you are looking for. could you please send me a screenshot of your post query settings page?

    Hi, so sorry, had an emergency last week…

    where do I send the screenshot too?
    On the Query Post tab, in the box labeled: Post types… all it has in the box is “post”

    Sorry I am new to this forum, if you tell me where to upload the screenshot I can do that as well :).

    if this does not work please check browser console area there might js error on the page, send me a screenshot of browser console are if you see any js error.

    Hi, that so strange… I did do that before, and it would say category, but there was no way to expand it… the check box didn’t do anything… but now it seems to be working! Must have been a glitch on my end?
    Thanks so much for your time and for being patient with me, I think I should be good to go now! ??
