How do I control which page my posts go to?

  • It seems I can only do this is the “reading” section under settings but that seems pretty limiting, surely I can choose a page and write a post that will show up on that page? Im going wrong somewhere.

    WP version 2.8 and Theme Inferno-mfv1.3 1.0

  • One method (the most common one, I think) is to assign posts to a category and then use a template to display only that category.

    An easy way to do that is to create a blank Page, and use the Page Links To plugin to assign the category to the Page.

    If you are using WP 3.0, you can build a custom menu and assign a category to a menu item.
